Artist Statement- PRIDE and the LGBTQ+ community should be allowed to shine wherever they are. Through “Glowing with Pride”, I wish to celebrate the vibrant spirit and the multifaceted nature of LGBTQ+ identity. Each lantern is unique and perfect in its imperfections like each person. Hopefully, the light shed by these lanterns will serve as a symbol of hope, acceptance, and enlightenment.
